DLA, LLC Announces 2020 Mid-Year Promotions

Arlene Pottinger, promoted to Managing Director, Internal Audit
Arlene is a key member of the Internal Audit team who recently celebrated her decade long anniversary with the Firm. She joined DLA as a Manager in the Internal Audit group in 2010 and throughout her years with the organization, has solidified her role as a key leader in the Audit practice. Arlene acts as the lead for the DLA staff assigned to the Firm’s various financial service clients. Her responsibilities include project scoping, quality assurance, C-suite client relationships, independent auditor relationships, and budget to actual monitoring. Arlene is also a valued coach and mentor to the junior members of the Internal Audit team.
Erkhan Murad, promoted to Director, Internal Audit
Erkhan joined DLA as a Senior Consultant in the Internal Audit group in August of 2016. Erkhan brings a wealth of audit, controls, and advisory experience to his clients, which encompass a variety of industries. As a Director of the Firm, Erkhan will be responsible for project scoping and quality assurance. As a customer service expert, Erkhan will maintain direct interaction with client sponsors and independent auditors. Erkhan will also play a significant role in budget to actual monitoring and will continue to serve as a coach and mentor to other staff.
Kevin Gray, promoted to Manager, Internal Audit
Kevin has been an employee of DLA since November of 2014. He was hired as a Senior Consultant in the Internal Audit practice, with a focus on Information Technology advisory services. Kevin is responsible for leading client testing, managing project budgets, and acting in a supervisory role for staff. In his new role, Kevin will be performing first level reviews and handling day to day interactions with client. Kevin’s work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to take on new projects has made him an ideal member of the DLA team.
Holly Davies, promoted to Assistant Controller, Administration
Holly was hired as an Accounting Manager for DLA in 2017. In her three years with the Firm, she has advanced progressively and taken on a multitude of financial responsibilities for the firm. In her new role, Holly will oversee DLA’s billing, payroll processing, and be actively involved in the preparation of monthly financial statements, supervising a staff accountant and preparation of DLA’s annual tax returns among other financial activities, reporting to DLA’s Controller. “The team members being promoted have proven their ability to provide excellent client service, coach and counsel staff, and make DLA an excellent place to work,” added Keith Snyder, Partner & Leader of DLA’s Internal Audit practice. “They are driven to advancing the firm’s reputation, upholding our commitments to our clients, and internal resources. I look forward to their continued success and commitment to bettering DLA.”
